APPLICATIONS
-
Use appropriate clothes,
protective gloves and protective glasses to avoid any possible
splash.
-
All surfaces to receive
application must be clean, smooth and free of loose debris, dirt and
dust, efflorescence, grease, oils, curing agents and cleaning
solutions. Ensure that all surfaces are smooth and free of any
irregularities. Repair all cracks with the appropriate patching
material for the existing substrate.
-
Color coat should be approximately
1/8 thick. Hand trowel application over a premium light color cement
brown coat.
-
Add approximately 16 oz of water
to full bucket of Marmix and mix it with an electric mixer for about
8 minutes until it is smooth and free of lumps. The brown coat or
the surface that will be applied on, should be very smooth, clean
and dry. By using a steel trowel, apply over a smooth brown coat by
spreading on evenly and glaze it well. After approximately 15
minutes, glaze it again for smooth finish. Wet the trowel with a
sponge during reglazing.
